Dover

Traffic is free-flowing into the port of Dover

Please note: all dangerous goods and plug-in requirements must be declared at the point of check-in.

Customers are advised to allow a little extra time for security checks.

The Port of Calais is now able to accept out of gauge vehicles for Category I and Category II. Please contact us for further details +44 (0)1304 862539 or freightops.dover@poferries.com.  All vehicles carrying dangerous goods may only remain in Calais for 12 hours after arrival.

Calais

Hull

This is the update for 10h30 on Thursday 11th March 2010

The Pride of York ex Zeebrugge arrived at 09:30hrs and will sail to Zeebrugge at 19:00hrs.

Teesport

This is the update for 10:30hrs on Thursday 11th March 2010

The Norsky ex Zeebrugge expected to arrive at 10:45hrs and will sail to Zeebrugge at 21:00hrs.

The European Trader ex Europoort is expected to arrive at 13.30hrs and will sail to Europoort at 21.00hrs

Tilbury

This is the update for 18h00 on 11th March 2010

The next scheduled sailing to Zeebrugge is at 21h00 on the 11th March 2010 

Due to the vessel refit period the schedule this weekend will be as follows:

Rotterdam (Europoort)

This is the update for 06h00 on 10th March 2010

The Pride of Rotterdam will arrive at 08.30 hrs and will sail to Hull at 21h00.

The European Trader will arrive at 11.00 hrs and will sail to Teesport at 22h00.

Zeebrugge

Hull / Teesport service

The  Pride of York arrives at 09h15 and will sail to Hull at 19h00.

The Norsky arrives at 13h00 and will sail to Teesport at 20:30.

Tilbury service

Ref : delivery of trailers for shipment to UK to the Zeebrugge terminal

There is growing concern that illegal migration is a problem for shippers, agents and hauliers. Illegal entry into freight units is not only a security problem for the terminals and the ships, it is also the cause of damage to the units and the goods that our customers transport.
In accordance with UK Border Agency guidelines, unless hauliers can prove that they have an effective system in place for preventing clandestine entrants, such as providing robust security, checking vehicles and training drivers, a civil penalty could be imposed.

P&O Ferries is committed to achieving the best possible security standards for our customers, their freight units and the goods carried. In order to maximise the effectiveness of security efforts with subject to security, would you kindly support our request for all softsided loaded freight units to be properly closed and sealed prior to delivery to terminal. This will not stop fraud and illegal migration but it will rule out some of the risks posed.

Could you please advise your staff and contractors that we will be implementing security checks fully on your arriving units as from 1st of August.
Please note should we receive units that are unsealed we will make every effort to assist in the sealing. However under certain circumstances your unit could be refused entry to terminal.
